Gaffigan released a special last week and is also on the new Soderbergh show, and people like rogan because they are also assholes haha

 

Not defending him but being on Rogan probably lets you promote something to a gigantic, massive audience quickly. And are the network tv talk shows even operating right now with the strike?

He would probably do Fallon, Colbert etc so this might be one of his limited options

 

Rogan is as popular as he is because he has on just as many non political guests as political guests

 

Would YOU go on Rogan? Not sure it's worth it even if it gets a bit of attention.

Todd Howard on Lex Fridman was a particularly funny genre of that type of podcast because you got the sense Todd could tell he was talking to someone who did not understand what it is that he does at all lol

I probably would, depends on what type of message I’m trying to get out there lol

 

I think in the end, a lot of comedians can’t say no to him. For all the Shane Gillises and Legion of Skanks that will show up, he’ll also get Steven Wright and Nate Bargartze.

 

They’ve probably been friends since the 90s as up and coming stand up comedians

 

I’d go on Rogan if he promises to do his grizzly bear impression and guarantees at least two “pull that shit up, Jamie” moments.

I think Gaffigan is established enough it is a little worth criticizing for going on Rogan. But not a huge deal imo unless he’s on there agreeing with him that trans people are just mentally ill or covid was a hoax. Which btw most people that go on there end up doing that shit so it’s suspect automatically

 

I’m not so I have no idea what being in that position would be like and I’m not gonna pretend to know

 

There is only like a 1,000 working comedians you know, its a really special profession that should be treasured by America. That is why every comedian goes on Rogan. /s
