No progressives, certainly nothing approaching a Warren appointment, but a lot of experience. Of those 3 I guess I hope it’s not Ferguson because he’s been the most tied to Wall Street.

I’ve been getting emails every single day for the last 2 weeks that someone at my brothers school tested positive (he’s been doing all online thankfully)

That hospitalization number is going up so fucking fast. It's terrifying.

I pulled this off of mass.gov yesterday, and I think we are positioned better here than a lot of other places - and these numbers are pretty alarming.

I have no idea whether these graphs take into account any flex capacity we may have in this state.

Didn't set a record for deaths, so clearly the libs are overexagerating

Sometimes I wonder how many cases we really were having back in April. The positivity rate was nearly 50% in the hot spots and remember that back then they had limited tests and were only testing symptomatic people. How many people had it and didn't know and also how many people had it and just never got tested because it was too hard? I keep seeing these record numbers in cases for all these states but reminding myself that it still probably isn't as bad (yet) as it was in April in some places because we weren't testing enough

  20. yeah my brother thinks he got it in late march. He never got tested but told me it was either covid or the worst flu of his life.

even in the new dial level, in red(which is now the next to last level because purple was a new added color because our cases were blowing past the red level) it specifically says for high school that hybrid or remote is only “suggested” the dial fucking sucks

My college has had 142 total cases since the semester started (42 on campus and 100 off campus), which is certainly not great. Makes me feel good about my decision to live at home this semester lol. All classes except labs are online this semester and they have limited students living on campus so I imagine most cases are from people going to parties and just not caring. Most of the cases are from September though, I think this month has only been 13 total so far.

They have already said most classes will be online only next semester. As much as I hate it it is probably for the better
