Found out my cousin’s ex husband died from COVID last night. He was in a nursing home due to be disable due to a traumatic brain injury he got from a motorcycle accident, the family is looking to find out how this happened. It’s truly a fucking shame, he couldn’t protect himself at his weakest and I can’t imagine how he felt. I knew him for most of my life, he was such a good man. I feel pretty terrible tonight.

I believe there is space for not-Trump conservatives in the scope of US politics.

But not the GOP. GOP is forever tainted. Step 1 to a conservative showing they are willing to work towards unity instead of division is them leaving the GOP.

yup. they changed the "dial" last minute to avoid a shut down. we are at level 1 shut down metrics right now but they won't do it because they changed the metrics and the level/dial when they saw we were projected to hit shut down levels a week or so ago.

I was able to request an at home covid test through my county. It's the saliva test and the only catch is you have to do it on a zoom call with a medical professional. You mail it in and should have results in 48 hrs. It's also free. Better than trying to get an appt at a cvs since they never have any available.

 

Someone on Facebook told me that Trump is 1/26 in court because of “corrupt judges”.

All I can say to that is, LOL

 

Every citizen should be sent a small stash of instant tests and the damn machine to read them haha.
