This is crazy; according to Moderna's research, regarding their vaccine, they needed a certain number of people to catch the virus, and because Americans are so irresponsible, Moderna's research went much faster than expected, hence why their vaccine has done so well

I will just never understand the mindset when someone tells you a group of people are struggling (people with student loan debt) and the initial response is to ask why they got themselves into that problem in the first place (why did you take those loan).

 

We would collectively get a lot more accomplished if people would stop blaming systematic failures on the victims of systematic failures.

An update on my grandparents, so far they haven’t shown any symptoms and they’re doing okay.

yep. We own a home because my wife’s parents paid for her college so she didn’t have any debt and I had the small amount I mentioned. Not having debt allowed her to save up for a down payment that was still the bare minimum for a down payment haha. We asked for closing cost assistance because we couldn’t afford both the down payment and the closing cosrs

I hate society. There was an older lady in line with a small cart in lane 7 (I was in 9) and this asshole came and stood less than 2 feet from her and when she asked him to back up cause he was too close he looked at her and said ‘too damn bad’. I motioned for her to come and go ahead of me. Fucking assholes.

edit: and when I said 2 feet, he literally stood NEXT to her instead of behind her in line.

Gonna guess you guys live in a more affordable part of the country...we just bought a home in westchester NY only because I'm a physician, all my college educated friends who grew up here have been priced out and are moving to the Midwest and south.

 

I had to get my license renewed. I paid online and thought I would get the renewal form in the mail and have to go to the DMV but they just sent the new license with my old picture.
