It's a start. Just doing that shit already is an improvement over like 40% of the country. I'll take it from the non-political heads. Next step is hopefully continued education (in places like this thread) that increase engagement further and, at minimum, sway them to vote for politicians that support better ideas.

 

Two morning thoughts:

1) don’t like the Covid numbers. They look on the rise again.

2) Texas looks legit in play

 

Really hope the campaign is pouring series $$$ into ads in Texas. Wonder how much $$$ Bloomberg is dropping on ads in places as well

 

he 100% has a post presidency grift already lined up, I'm starting to think he's actively accelerating it

 

Surely Trump must have plans for some kind of Trump TV network or something

 

This isn’t politics related at all, but with the rise in COVID numbers I’m a bit worried. I haven’t been feeling well the last few days and today I can’t even stand because I’m just completely dizzy. I fell over twice (once onto the couch and another onto the floor). Also my bowel movements can’t seem to stop (14 times yesterday). Sorry if this is too much information. Being that I work in a restaurant and we’re at 100% capacity again, my anxiety about getting sick has been through to roof. I’m calling out today because I know I cannot drive and I’m seeing if my mother can take me to the hospital and watch my son afterwards.

 

This fucking guy. Good on her for continuing to press him. More reporters need to be doing this to everyone in the administration.

Any chance for AOC to be given a position in a Biden administration? Or can that only be done for people not currently serving a role in Congress?

 

fwiw this was only about the people who come in here every day like “i hate trump so much how can you look at this face and. not. want. to. punch. Him!!!” and no one who engages actively

i don’t think there’s anything wrong with being “relieved” if biden wins, but we have to then focus our trump anger on him bc he has a tonnnnnnn of ground to improve before he’s even halfway “decent”

 

Biden can appoint anyone for anything regardless of congressional standing. That being said, it’s doubtful he’ll have her in his cabinet because she’s very early in her political career and is in a powerful position in the House. If Harris ends up as POTUS in ‘24 I could see her appointing AOC.

 

Yeah AOC is gonna stay in legislature for the time being.

 

I will be since I’m told a few symptoms could be related.
