Cal is all but done. He is down 96,700 votes. There's are 117,000 outstanding mail in ballots according to the state board of elections. In order to win

1) The majority of the ballots have to have been returned. Some people likely ended up voting in person or just didn't send it back

2) They have to have been postmarked by last night. They can be received until the 12th

3)Based on how many are received the percent he needs will change but he'll need most all of them

4) Likely survive a recount without too many changes

It's hugely stacked against him

 

My mom’s Facebook is currently a morbidly hilarious cesspool of right wing conspiracy posts that each have a “false information” tag over them. Upsetting that she believes these things, more upsetting that she sees independent fact check after independent fact check disprove her posts and she, instead of thinking “huh, maybe I’m actually wrong” instead says “THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS INDEPENDENT FACT CHECKERS THEY’RE ALL PART OF THE LIBERAL LIES.”
