Like it’s funny, we all dunked on the NYT yesterday for saying it’s the media’s job to call the election and now we’re discounting the word of the literal Wisconsin elections administrator because “the news hasn’t called it yet” lol

 

How did CNN just call Maine right now?

 

Wisconsin is still at less than a percentage point and in recount territory, so while it is *highly likely* Biden, it may not be prudent to call it just yet. Especially with pending lawsuits and other shenanigans from the Regressives.

Depends on the state. I think it's within 1% in Wisconsin.

 

He said it's too much to overcome in a challenge. The challenge is still there, and when you add in voter-suppressing fuckery . . .

 

i believe it's just the percentage points, within 1%

but like others are saying, that's been in the case for races where a few hundred votes is the issue. not 20k lol.

 

If a recount is going to happen it’s going to happen. As of now Biden has won Wisconsin by 20,697 votes per Wisconsin’s Elections Administrator

 

you can’t suppress votes on a recount the votes are already in, and the GOP wouldn’t be able to successfully challenge enough ballots to overcome the deficit

 

that isn't really the issue. the votes are still in. they're just being counted. they can complain about the votes being illegal all they want. they will lose that battle too. maybe if it were NC they would win but that isn't the case.

 

I agree, I'm just saying that's' why news outlets likely have not called it for Biden yet.

All I'm saying is that they will almost certainly claim in court that some votes were counted that should not have been and try to have those votes thrown out. They probably won't be successful, but they will almost certainly try (and try hard).

Biden is highly likely to have won Wisconsin, but it is still very close.

 

Updating my projection from earlier, Michigan Sec. of State says there's about 100,000 ballots left to count. Doesn't match up with the reported percentages, so I wonder if the reported totals are different than what they've actually counted at this point.

Georgia Presidential race just tightened by 0.4%.
Georgia Senate race just tightened by 0.3%.

 

again, like I was saying, they can make that argument. it 99.9999% will not work in their favor. if it were NC, it probably would. very unlikely it would in WI.
