Please vote the Dems and Biden in, I can't deal with another 4 years of a racist, lying, sexist, xenophobe, white supremacist loving, climate change denying piece of s**t running your fabulous country.

4 more years would be a disaster for not only the US but the rest of the world.

Trump is on the same list as Putin, Xi, Bolsonaro, Erdogan, Duterte etc. Please vote him out!!!!

I have this overly optimistic theory (not based upon any kind of actual evidence) that I'm allowing myself to believe: Democrats will turn out to vote in overwhelming numbers today. Why? Because they have taken the virus seriously and have greatly restricted their activities to the point where going out to vote will feel like a justified treat; something like a wonderful social outing. Republicans, by and large, have not adjusted their lives in any major way during this pandemic, so they'll be more likely to decline waiting in the large lines.

 

yup. also my predictions for when all votes have been counted:

popular vote: biden at least +9
electoral college: biden at least +45

I know 3 people that have never voted before that registered just to vote against Trump. Hopefully that’s a trend.

 

Listening to yesterday's The Daily and good lord the electoral college tie-breaker protocol is so fucking dumb. How anyone can legitimately think the founders set up this brilliant system is delusional. First, they set up a system where it could end in a tie, then they have the house decide with one vote per state...which could also end in a tie. Morons.

 

My best intention is to stay up late. I might make it to 3am, but I've bought some snacks and plenty of coffee and a can of monster will hopefully see me last beyond that! Should be an interesting night - I just hope the orange idiot doesn't win!

Is there any mechanism for the judiciary to immediately strike down these lawsuits because of the plaintiffs poor standing and prior history? They’re just going to keep putting things through clogging up peoples time.
