Just got back home today from our elopement + mini honeymoon and missed 150 pages in this thread lol

the morning of my wedding I filled out my PA ballot, dropped it off before leaving for our honeymoon, and just got confirmation it was received B-)

I know I have great coworkers because I messaged them about work and they were just like “don’t come in tomorrow, just WFH, why are you even asking?” :crylaugh::verysad:

My sister got me this mug for my birthday that changes all the states to blue when you put a hot beverage in it. Just came in the mail today and can’t think of a better time for it to have come

This is exactly what I see happening tomorrow. It could look like a repeat of 2000. Trump will declare victory and if the networks carry those remarks live it will be a disaster.

So maybe its time we arm ourselves? Defend our values? Stop retweeting and feeling self gratification?

If the enemy fires at you and the response is "stay inside folks", well..that's how you get trump.

I’ve got two bottles of Johnnie Walker White Walker, and I am not a scotch drinker at all.

I think I’ve decided I’ll be cracking one of these open tomorrow evening

ANother good election resource to use if you want: DecisionDeskHQ's advantage they have over other outlets is I'm pretty sure they have "targets" for candidates to hit by district. It's obviosuly still based on their own model but basically aprt of the results they give you will be the % of voters that candidate is winning in a county and what % of voters they THINK the candidate has to win that county by to have a chance of winning the state. So following those targets on election night could be a good thing to watch.

Under the wire election prediction: Trump's going to win and GOP will keep the senate by a big enough margin to know by Wednesday morning because every single "professional" poller or analyst is an upper-class out-of-touch overpaid moron and they're constantly falling upward despite being blindsided every step of the way, and Trump is more appealing to rich people than a DNC establishment that only pretends to listen to its potential base of voting constituents

See you guys in a couple days to see if I'm right

Nah, zero chance that Trump wins without cheating, and zero chance we know by Wednesday

/mild rant about having "Unknown" be the third gender option instead of something like "Other" (or some better term that indicates "people who do not identify as male or female" that doesn't inherently promote otherness)

looking at this even if only half the UAF votes are for Biden, he still will pretty easily. seems good. granted its colorado so winning easily is a must. but still good.

I think young people are going to be the big shock to the pundits again this year like they were in 2008. All of the polls are based on turnout models that will assume younger voters don’t come out in the numbers that they actually will come out in this election, and it leads to an underrating of Biden’s position.

    that’s my hopeful stance anyway
