You all realize that wasting time talking about birthdays is exactly the lib-troll he's looking for, right? Same with his stupid tweet about zip ties. You guys fall for it every time.

It's disappointing.

 

When you're older, birthdays are a fun excuse to get friends together when you only hang out a few times a year. The only stressful thing is worrying about whether your different friends groups will collide.

 

I mean we're talking about it in a forum that he'll never see. It would be different if we were responding to his tweet but uhh that's not the case lol.

Also who cares how people want to waste their time

 

Can't these vaccine makers simply add/build more factories to make larger quantities of the vaccine liquid? Shouldn't this be something the Fed gov't gives them money to do?

 

There’s no true data yet, but I just heard Faucci say a couple of minutes ago that you can assume it’s around 50/60% effective; you need the 2nd shot boost to reach the 94% or whatever.

 

I've become a birthday buzzkill in my old age. My birthday's some time next week but I keep telling my wife I don't want to do anything special, we'll get some nice food to go and that'll be good with me.

I also hid my birthday from Facebook so I stop getting the yearly posts from people I don't actually talk to

More likely than not they would have to convert another pharma production facility into a vaccine-producing system. No way they could build from the ground up in a short time span.

My birthday, wedding anniversary, and husbands birthday are pretty close together. We typically would get a hotel in Chicago for the weekend...I am SO hoping we get to do it this year. Other than that, meh on birthdays.

I hope I can still get my 2nd dose in 10 days.

 

To have a vaccine appointment scheduled and then lose it. Yikes. The disappointment (and rage) is real. How anyone can not be radicalized by this pandemic is beyond me

When I was like 20 and worked at a restaurant my boss always made fun of people for taking their birthdays off because it was his way of offsetting he actually had anxiety and hated attention to him. He told me once he scheduled himself a 14 hour day on his birthday just because his wife planned a birthday party for him with his friends and he didn't wanna go lol

 

why are dudes so emotionally stunted that they can't just be like "hey, i don't really want to do all that for my birthday, can we do something else instead?" and instead schedule themselves to work 14 hours straight

 

I am in no way defending the 14 hour shift because that's insane, but I have had requests for a low-key birthday ignored before and it completely sucks

 

I'm 28 and I'm already there haha

 

Oh yeah, I didn't think you were. I also know people who do similar things to him and I'm just like why not just talk about it. My girlfriend wanted to do a big thing for my first birthday we spent together but it also happens to fall on a busy work week for me every year and we just talked and I asked her not to do anything big and she agreed. It does suck though if people do go through with big plans when the person who's birthday it is doesn't want it.

I don’t care for my birthday at all. I always ask for the same thing and it’s for everyone to leave me alone for a whole day, but that never happens. People need to listen.
