I think it's weird as fuck to judge people for celebrating their birthday in a way that's different. Who cares if people celebrate a birthday week or month. The last 20 years have been a clusterfuck of awfulness. 9/11, the Bush administration, an economic collapse, trump, a pandemic, another economic collapse and a government haggling over who can give us less help while 400,000 people die and some people are out here like "i don't like how people celebrate their birthdays" lol

The only birthday I celebrate is July 4, the birthday of this beautiful country of ours

 

I don’t mind at all if people want to celebrate their birthdays for a week, but I do sometimes mind when I’m expected to celebrate it with them for a week.

 

I don't celebrate my birthday because I hate being the center of attention, so I welcome other people's birthdays where they are the center of attention

 

I mean that looks a lot better to me than most states maps. I am not exactly an expert on Oregon but just off a glance, how is that any worse than a bunch of other states?

Birthdays are fun. You get to eat whatever you want and people are nice to you

 

I celebrate mine still. Though this years was doody for obvious reasons. Though my wife usually finds some way to make it special or fun no matter what we do (Posting While Horny not withstanding)

yeah before I was kind of sick so we just had friends over and played cards against humanity.

Most other years it just involves going out to the bar and drinking and jamming to a cover band lol. I made my friends all go to Atlantic City for the weekend for my 30th.

 

My first dose is a week from today. Why did they let me make an appointment if they were going to run out??

Me and my wife's 30th's are both this year, hers in April. I wanted to surprise her with a trip to Seattle to see her cousin but that probably won't be happening

 

I just go out to eat and buy myself a gift for my birthday

 

What happens if the second dose is delayed? Does it make it less effective?

I turned 30 this past September and had to postpone a big weekend away with friends. It sucked but im crossing my fingers for a big 31.
