Why should we care about how many times the earth rotated around the sun while we have been alive? Age is just a number made up by the government to restrict our freedoms to say what we can and can’t do

(that’s sarcasm, if you can’t tell)

I just think it’s weird when people make a huge deal about their birthdays. Especially when it’s a random one like 37.

Hey I’ll be enjoying my 37th in April despite some of you Debbie downers

making a huge deal is one thing but I think it’s important to treat oneself and appreciate the day one was born/making it alive another year. Life is short.

granted this is coming from someone that didn’t celebrate for 30 some odd years so take it with a grain of salt

The only thing I remember about my 37th birthday is that I listened to this album:

  10. I think the best part of entering your 30's is you start to forget your actual age

Agreed. I was about to post that I'm turning 38 soon and then I realized I'm actually turning 39.

yes this is absolutely fine. I just see people on Facebook/Instagram that spend their entire birth month celebrating. Like simmer down people.

The only time I did the "birthday week" thing was when I was in my early-20s and lived with 2 roommates and all of our birthdays were in the same week, with a day between each.

    That. Was. INSANE.

Lol this is insanely true. Have screwed up what age I am every year of 31, 32, 33.

I did it a couple times in my late 20s but not nearly as much as I do now.
