So jw, what role did the house sergeant at arms play here? I don't really know what they do that the capitol police doesn't already do. Were they also supposed to coordinate a large security force and failed to do anything? Did Pelosi demand their resignation?

It’s perfectly valid to request his resignation in light of what happened.
