when I hear Defund the Police, I think of no longer giving them these big toys

 

All cops are bastards is a good one because the people get angry at you and say "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT ALL COPS" and then you can calmly explain that it isn't an attack on individual officers but the flaws of the policing system that enables violence and racism and they are just like "oh...yeah"

 

Ideally this is what you want the public to think when they hear it but far too many people just think of it as living in a lawless society where criminals can do whatever they want

 

I want people to believe police officers are the offspring of an unmarried couple an should carry the social stigmas of such status.

I believe any vegan/vegetarian should have the option of that diet even if they’re incarcerated for the most heinous shit I can imagine

I also believe Ghislaine is not actually vegan, because I have it on good authority that she and Epstein would eat human babies

People shouldn’t eat babies

 

1. Incarceration doesn't work.
2. Until we can abolish our prison system, all imprisoned individuals deserve human rights and basic living conditions
AND
3. People like Jizzlaid Maxsmell, who've destroyed human lives and enabled torturers are the absolute LAST people who deserve to reap the benefits of any of those reforms.

 

I actually find this point interesting. I’m a vegetarian and I know I would be extremely broken up if a prison tried to force me to eat meat. I don’t think I’d take it unless the rest of the food was so insufficient that it would functionally starve me.

And I don’t even consider myself *that* passionate about it. At least compared to a lot of vegetarians/vegans I know. And I do think that there are more than a few people out there who, if they had to choose between either losing their vegan diet or losing their right to vote, would sacrifice the latter. Like it can very well be a sincerely held ethical belief on par with any sincere religious belief

 

Literally nobody has said otherwise. Not even PETA. Also calling it “reaping benefits” is a bad framework for it in the first place. If they are basic rights then they aren’t benefits
