Same with movies made by people who don’t understand addiction. I remember a scene in Flight when Denzel buys one of every bottle of liquor he sees and I’m like... what’s he gonna do with that margarita mix. Addicts know what they like, they don’t have a whole alcohol variety sampling

You also know the debit card tricks to avoid overdrafting, like filling up on gas after 5 so you have until the next day to get back in the black. Saved my ass a few times when I had a few dollars in the bank.

So the local super mall was of course open for black friday weekend and pictures of the crowded foot court went viral and people especially the state restaurant assoiation are freaking out about it because "why can they pack people in but we can only have 30% fire capacity now?" and etc, and unfortunately people are learning all the wrong lessons here and right wingers are bad faith saying "it's because the big box stores give the governor money" and etc blah blah blah.

it's so frustrating to see people get so close to seeing the problem and yet, completely not getting it and saying dumb stuff about opening shit up for restaurants more and etc.

Personally I like my waffles soft. Nothing worse than a crunchy waffle to ruin the mood
