Got back from the Union Park march in Chicago a bit ago. Was a good time. Very peaceful and non-confrontational. There’s another rally in Humboldt park that i don’t think I’ll make tonight. Suspect that the cops will be more confrontational there.

 

There was a Defund the MPD march in Mpls today and I thought it was massive but that Philly video is unreal

 

CNN just reported the two officers who pushed that old man in Buffalo pleaded not guilty, released without bail

Also am I correct there are probably cis women out there who for some medical reason don't have a period? Which probably renders them infertile? Today I witnessed a disgusting display of police brutality. I am still collecting my thoughts and I'm sorry if I say anything wrong, but I think this should be heard. If anybody has any advice on what I can do to spread the word on this let me know. My aunt gave me the police commissioners email, I will be writing one although I'm not sure how useful that will be considering they're all complicit. I believe videos were taken by other protesters, but as my girlfriend and I were trying help with the situation we could not.

CW: Police violence against children

Because of the protest I was at earlier in the week where the highway was shut down, the protest today I attended in the same town saw an escalation of police force. They confronted us multiple times until the group had diminished to about 50-100, and when we met the 300+ police in riot gear on the highway, a group of 4 Black men knelt in front of them. With absolutely zero provocation, these officers charged these men with such force it was unreal. A 14 year boy was among them. 14 years old. Let that sink in. They claimed we threw bricks at cars - A LIE. Do you know why this happened? Because white people in the neighborhood said they were scared. These white people were so put out that we protested through their neighborhood on Thursday that they sent the whole damn swat team in. And then they attacked these Black men because of it. A CHILD. 14 years old. And then they rushed at us all, 300 police officers in riot gear running down a peaceful protest.

Don't share any bullshit videos of these officers kneeling. Today an officer told us "I only kneel for God." There are no good cops okay? Stop sharing that shit.

I talked to a cop today that said he understood why people burn big box stores. No good cops in a racist system, but I was surprised to hear that.
