He goes down. The tank takes aim, fires, blows up his whole shit. I wait for the tanks to disperse. I search through the rubble and take his gun. I sell it on the black market for a killing. I’m now the richest man in the area and I ride out the rest of the martial law order aboard my cool new yacht

Look it's an extremely uncomfortable subject to think about. But everyone will have to make a choice, and people can only make it for themselves.

Are you comfortable living under marshall law with no rights or would you organize to try to undermine those in power.

Maybe I'm living in a fantasy land but I dont think were there yet. I cant wrap my brain around what a legit occupation/revolution would look like... it would be catastrophic though that's for sure.
