I mean considering Bernie dropped out well over a month ago, is it really a strong showing?

 

We were out picking up food today. My guess is 50-55% or less in masks. It was very disappointing.

I’m not sure if it’s still done but every 9/11 anniversary there would be a ceremony honoring the 3000 that died, people coming up to podium and reading aloud every person that died. We’re now having 9/11 level deaths a day.

 

Honestly, it feels like New York (especially NYC) is the one part of the country taking this seriously at this point. Very few people are out and I would say 90-95% of people who are out wear masks (and most indoor places require and enforce mask wearing). When I go for walks, I usually try to avoid wearing a mask and just keep a 6+ foot distance from people so I can actually get some fresh air (if I'm in a park, I keep a mask on me in case it gets too crowded to distance) but I sometimes feel embarrassed that I'm the only one not wearing a mask. I really think we got it so bad that everyone is being super careful and it's working. Just wish the rest of the country could do the same

 

Also, at the park I went to today, the NYPD was everywhere handing out masks to people and making sure everyone was wearing them.

A friend of mine who works at the Amazon plant in Kansas thinks he might have contracted COVID-19 (he’s been a fairly big denier of it). He’s getting checked out at the ER.

 

Yeah around me in NY on long Island I see almost everyone wearing masks. There's also like a 50% every time I go out I'll overhear someone complaining about the masks or the rules in general though. I agree as soon as it's not a requirement it's gonna plummet.

 

The level of self serving puddle brained delusion required to log on to twitter dot com and post that a Biden presidency would be WORSE than a second trump term is beyond comprehension

 

I would think masks should be a requirement in places like inside any stores, public transportation, etc. until a vaccine is approved. But you know that won't be a case

 

Any negative publicity about Loeffler's chances in an election should include the fact that she's a criminal who used insider information to influence her stock decisions

 

This is the wildest story I've read in a while, I can't believe one man can be so pathetic that he torpedos an entire business that he doesn't even work for.

Boston seems to still be behaving well regarding masks and distancing. All of my experiences have been nearly 100% mask wearing and distancing when possible.
