I guess you are talking about absolute numbers here, but if we use relative numbers then the US should actually do even better than Germany. Germany has a way higher median age than the US, which means more people in the risk group and it is also more densely populated.

 

They knew this would happen. They just don't care.

maybe all the pee in the water parks will kill the virus

 

Waterparks seem like a terrible idea. At least with amusement parks you can make people wear a mask. Only good thing is that there hasn't been any evidence of transmission through water

 

We're screwed. People really don't care about the virus and still think it's not a big deal.

 

Late last night Jaws was on HBO and I watched... that didn’t help my anxiety

 

Just reading through my town’s Facebook group I know we are fucked. So many people (generally older men) basically saying “I’m gonna live my life normally. If you want to stay inside forever then that’s your choice”

okay cool, hope someone you love doesn’t get it and die. Maybe you’ll change your mind then (probably won’t anyway though)
