Looking at my son and wondering how in the world you do an entire year of kindergarten over zoom.

 

We'd have fewer questions if the government was working on a strategy of testing, isolation, containment, or things basically every other country is doing ... but alas, this is where we are instead. Or, put into a sports tweet:

Yeah I’m thinking about it from a HS perspective and it’s hard as hell. Elementary school is just....whew. I don’t know.

I suppose you COULD make the case that elementary school might not be as dangerous to go back to as MS and HS because a lot of elementary classes are self contained and they don’t switch and fill the hallways every 90 minutes the way secondary students do. But even then they still have bathroom breaks, recesss, etc. not to mention arrival and dismissal. And even the self contained part varies greatly from district to district. I was switching classes for certain subjects as early as 3rd grade IIRC. Might have even done it for 1st grade. Our district now the kids are just with their teacher for the day minus specials but yeah.

 

They churned out some impossibly catchy music and were criminally underrated compared to their peers.

That being said I was mainly listening to Tomorrow growing up. I put on NYSI a few months ago and the first song was about not being Politically Correct and yeesh

yep. And the Korean baseball league’s webpage crashing when it was announced ESPN was gonna be airing games is added to evidence to my theory that if we had sports, people would be much more comfortable cooperating with stay at home orders IMO
