Depressing as fuck.

Food shortages, and supply chain breakdowns, are where things get *really* bad. And I don't think the logic of "let people die" fixes either of those in the short or longterm. One of my biggest fears is we see a new wave of deaths, another run on grocery stores, and then we see supply chain shortages that lead to more death, more panic, and that's when society may just come off the rails completely.

NJ assembly passed a bill today that would allow places with liquor licenses to sell alcohol for takeout or delivery. This is a good idea to help bars and such that can’t open and probably won’t open here for who knows how long.

I went to the grocery store today at 8:30 am and the meat section was fucking scarce. Already a limit on what you can buy.

On the plus side I can wipe my butt with as much toilet paper I need. So when all else fails ... I have that glimmer of home before we all die.
