unfortunately, there isn't another debate before Michigan.

Missouri and Mississippi are lost causes. Washington is probably safe. Idaho maybe. But I think without really anything to swing the momentum between now and next week, Michigan is gonna go to Biden and that'll be hard to come back from. By that point, even a strong debate performance might not be enough to save Ohio or Illinois.

I'm thinking of becoming one of these people lol, I don't know if I can follow all of this shit this closely for another 8 months. Strongly considering just voting for the nominee and fucking off lol

  5. Strong Michigan showing would be huge. Bernie loses that it really hurts his gen election case. That’s my thinking. Momentum grabber.

  6. I feel this. Instead I’m broken and kinda half watching this Nora from Queens show that’s on on the background right now.

Honesty don’t understand why CNN waits so long to project winners. They haven’t even called California yet.

I need to go to bed instead of questioning these things

Left work to go to a trivia night I frequent to get my mind off all this and the bar had been commandeered by a DSA primary party that I’d gotten an email about and didn’t realize what bar it was at. Felt even worse lol

I wish I could do something, anything, to show Bernie how much I love him.

How he inspired a generation of kids like me to get involved in their communities and give a shit about politics. Made us feel safe and like there was hope.

He deserves better than what he gets.

I care a lot. I’m an hour from the border and our politics often mirror yours, the rise of Trump saw a rise of conservatism here - these things are not disparate.
I’m just really angry because this was a concentrated effort to stop a progressive that could have given hope to a lot of people and I think those people deserve better than the party that will actively try and pry that from them

I understand voting blue but there needs to be an active conversation about how and why this keeps happening imo, young people deserve better

  18. If Bernie can’t beat basic endorsements, high school president level politics, how is he winning against trump, let alone bending the senate to his will?

if you actually think we deserve better you shouldn't hope we get stuck with four more years of donald Trump

  20. I don't care whether it hurt or helped Bernie or Biden it's a fucking travesty that people in black and latinx areas had to wait that long to vote in TX. It's terrible in CA too but what happened in TX is the direct effect of Shelby County v. Holder striking down part of the VRA, since CA wouldn't have been captured by the law's coverage formula

Bloomberg is just barely over the viability mark in Texas. Would that be better or worse for Sanders if he dropped below it?

  23. I think worse? But idk I'm blinded by the fact that I want Bloomberg out of the race tomorrow
