Yeah I guess my sister at Great Clips, whose boss almost definitely has it, was just told to cut hair wearing gloves and don't come in if you start having symptoms. The gloves thing is better than my girlfriend's salon at least

 

My girlfriends work had a district wide conference call where her district manager reiterated that “this is basically the flu, nothing to be concerned about” so my girlfriend asked if HQ in California is fully staffed and her boss said “you can’t contact people in HQ as normal” but insinuated they’re working remotely from home. Their sales associates are getting compensation for one four (4) hour shift even though many sales associates work 12-15 hours a week. Her management team has to run the store’s reduced hours which are now “only” 12-6. She’s required to work 37.5 hours but only 5 days but the mall isn’t even open long enough for her to hit those hours. Capitalism is a piece of shit system designed to work you until you die and then replace you with someone they can pay even less.

 

Well this is absolutely wild...

 

I mean, I hope not but Eyman’s car tab bill passed last fall so I have lost the ability to be surprised in what Washington will do.

Well, my 9mo daughter was up all night with a fever. We took her to the doctor this morning and he didn't seem to link it to coronavirus, although it remains unexplained. Shes picked up throughout the day and is basically at normal temp now. However with Boris Johnson's statement earlier I think we're gonna self-isolate for the next 14 days.

My parents are planning on flying home from CA tomorrow because it finally occurred to them the options are get stuck in CA with no family or friends, or fly home as soon as possible. So hard to try to determine what the right choice is for them.
