My grandma is 87 and has to work and even took out a reverse mortgage on her little 1 bedroom condo (she didn’t consult me first) because she fell behind on bills. This country is sick.
She has to sell the condo now because of that reverse mortgage by the way and go live with one of her sons. I’m not sure why I’m sharing this thinking about it ruins my night.

Generic white moderates who just want some normalcy in the presidency. people that don’t give a shit about day to day political goings on or who AOC is or etc.

They were not going to completely ignore those voters at the convention.

Remember when Bernie talked about getting Rogan's endorsement and the moderates clutched their pearls?

I'd still argue we probably shouldn't be amplifying either Rogan *or* Powell's platforms. But if you're gonna do one, Rogan is probably the better choice.

Joe Rogan didn't lie to the UN to get us into the Iraq War so uhhhh yeah, "probably" the better choice

and Obama foreign policy followed (mostly) accordingly.

  18. Theory has got to be that they assume progressives hate trump so much they'll vote him out no matter what, it's just moderates that need to be convinced now lol

  19. Polling pretty much hints at that. Bernie voters at over 90% support. They want white suburbs in MI, PA, WI. The moderates that went Obama > Trump to flip back. Basically going with the “everyone likes this boring dude, he’s not scary or too left or really anything just return to boring” .. not what I expected to work tbh.

Yeah I mean, that is a pretty true lol. As I have said before, I think that the democrats are much more united than republicans right now. Pretty evident when some prominent republicans are endorsing the democrat because Trump poses such a big threat to our country.

And the amount of moderates who flipped Obama-Trump in 2016 was a much larger number than any progressives who went from Obama-3rd party/not voting
