this is awesome, but I’d say the PLL (premier lacrosse league) stands taller as they aren’t even playing the anthem, instead holding a moment of silence for those impacted in the struggle for racial justice. Either way, not a contest, and these are examples of exactly what leagues should be doing/allowing.

 

Evangelical circles, even in woke evangelicalism, seem pretty concerned these days with saying, "obviously Marxism is bad, & we're obviously not Marxists."

Like, there was an article floating around my social justice minded church friends' Facebook pages, I think published by Christianity Today, that was all about how there's good stuff in critical race theory... unlike Marxism, which is obviously an atheist worldview. From what I remember, the author kept talking about their expertise on the subject, because they'd studied, like, poetry written in Soviet Russia or something?

It's weird & annoying.

Of course but I wanted to know what articles that they were talking about particularly and if they had a source they specifically favored. Not much of an ask when trying to understand something correct? Also, thanks for posting. Will read!
