Anyone know what percentage of the population lives within 100 miles of the border? (i.e. apparently how Trump is able to give the border patrol free range here)?

100m is a long range. Its pretty much all of the population centers in California, Seattle, Portland, Houston, NO, All of Florida, the entire east coast, several major midwest cities (Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago depending on how you count)... if I had to guess I'd say at least 70%

 

Shouldn't even be legal since this issue has nothing to do with protecting the borders or immigration. Such BS. Trump knows he has no chance to win Oregon so he's using us as a PR tool for his "Law and Order" stance. I hope the protests continue to get larger. Last night actually sounds like things got pretty heated and spread further into the city than before.

Not surprised. Outside of the Willamette Valley, Oregon is super conservative and has an unreal hatred of Gov. Brown. My dad is one of those and him explaining his hatred of her was super irrational.
