I know the entire thing is ridiculous anyway, but just out of curiosity, how did they come up with that $250 million amount...?!?!? That seems like an ABSURD amount, even more absurd than that kid suing for damages in the first place. Why not just go for like $4 billion...??? I thought the whole idea of damages had to be somehow vaguely remotely tied to some realistic number...?

 

These tepid takes of comparing modern day USA to Gilead takes quickly fall apart if you consider that at the very least Gilead had an actual reason to act like they did, whereas the GOP is just doing it for kicks, which is worse.
