Tonight as I feed my baby, a lady got very mad at me on Twitter because I said the southern “veterans” of the civil war we’re fighting for slavery, which she insisted was not true since most soldiers were poorer and didn’t own slaves, that letters from her ancestors don’t mention fighting for slavery at all, and then told me to read about the REAL history and causes of the civil war and cited this website:
