Lately, I’m either fired up and want to kick down some political officials door and yell at them or I’m too bummed out by the world and ready to just accept the fact that trump will be president until he dies in office. Like, it’s such a terrible mindset to be in every single day and it’s miserable

“Possible but unlikely” doesn’t freak me out too much. It’s also possible but unlikely that the Dem candidate wins Georgia, which would render Wisconsin moot.

If they get PA and Michigan, that means they have to find 2 electoral votes from one of Maine 2, Nebraska 2, Wisconsin, Arizona, Iowa, Georgia, North Carolina, and Florida.

I think it’s more likely they do that if they win by 5 million than it is Trump loses by 5 mil and holds on to all of those.

Watch them get Maine 2 but not Nebraska 2, lose all the rest and have a 269-269 tie

"If you make us pay our employees a living wage we can't stay open" gets no sympathy from me because if you cant pay your employees a living wage they can't LIVE.

 

The argument wouldn't be "we can't stay open" it would be that right now we have 10 employees that we pay $13 an hour, and if we move it to $15 immediately one of those people will lose their jobs tomorrow.

The small business argument from yesterday was about immediately changing wages, which could cause a raise in unemployment, which could actually hurt any future argument about raising the minimum wage again.
