  2. Legitimizing a massive bigot’s platform under the bullshit of “dialog with the other side” is super gross. There is zero reason to lend credibility to bigots like Shapiro. Zero. Going on Spencer Nazi’s show is clearly a “no” but they pretend Shapiro is better because he doesn’t say it all out loud as much. He’s not. Legitimizing that asshole, giving your platform and voice and introducing your audience to that asshole is extremely bad judgement.

I don't 'hate' Booch going on with Shapiro just because i think he's smart enough that he could intellectually embarrass Shapiro on his own show. So it's not the worst thing in the world to me.

But unfortunately I think Shapiro probably realizes that and is instead not gonna do his usual bullshit schtick and is gonna be on his best behavior to interview a presidential candidate. And in that case, it'll just help legitimize him and a bunch of people might listen to the show and say "oh hey this guy is actually reasonable, ima download his next episode!" and shit. As others have said, too much bad faith there to want to risk it.

Who are you guys supporting so far anyway? Bernie and Warren are definitely the closest to my politics so I'm leaning towards either of them. I'll vote for any Democrat over Trump though obviously.

Bernie or Warren are getting my primary vote, but I'm worried Warren might not make it. I also like Castro, but hard to see my vote going to him over Bernie/Warren right now. General election my vote doesn't mean much because my state will go blue but I'll prob vote for the Dem unless it's a Howard Schultz by some ridiculous turn of events.

I've said it before, I support Bernie or Warren policy wise, I'll vote for whoever gets the nom but never trust them to actually implement progressive policy.
