Well this continues to be disappointing. The replies speak volumes. Starting to think that if she does drop out she won’t endorse Sanders, which would say a lot about her convictions considering the rest of the field isn’t progressive at all. Fanning flames between her base and Bernie’s is not good through. We should want pretty much the same things.

  2. Dirty dealing in the $175 billion Amazon Marketplace
In the intensely competitive world that Amazon has built, any efforts by the company to clean up seller misbehavior are quickly turned into weapons for sellers to wield against each other. The crackdown on fake five-star reviews begat the five-star bomb Plansky was hit with. After hoverboards started exploding in 2016 and Amazon became more vigilant about safety claims, sellers started buying each other’s products, setting them on fire, and posting photos in the reviews. The scheme that ensnared Harris made use of a program called “brand registry,” which Amazon overhauled last year to give companies more effective ways to guard against counterfeiting. Any seller with a trademark can register their brand with Amazon and get tools for quickly taking down sellers they claim are infringing.

This story about selling on Amazon is wiiiiiild.

  6. That feels right, and the response from the online people was over the top for something they were never going to do (endorse Sanders), and I’ve been worried for weeks they’d endorse Pete. I agree with Ryan Cooper’s take that Culinary has a good health plan and it’s not as cynical as it reads; that said, I still maintain the outsized animosity that can take place is a net detriment. I just don’t see this strategy(?) of harassment as a viable way forward. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s the only way to win in 2020 and take on the MAGAtrolls, but I don’t like how it feels at the very least.

Anyway, let me remind everyone that the union endorsed Obama in 2008 and then Bill Clinton basically did a bunch of handshake meetings with members and won a ton of them over in casinos and Hillary actually won that vote. (And then statewide Hillary won popular vote, Obama came out with more delegates iirc.)

I wanna still believe but its hard. Glad to see a lot of people are still believing in her. I still think she needs to win Nevada and channel that into a strong showing in SC. And even then, I fear her only path to the nomination is to have a sizeable chunk of delegates and be like "I'm the best person to bring both sides of the party together".

  10. She needs to come in at least second in Nevada IMO. And I don’t think she’s going to, but we haven’t seen polling there in a while and uh, have I said I hate caucuses?

I think she might. Not getting my hopes up. But I feel like its a decent state for her. I think a lot will depend on if the Klobmentum continues (I think in terms of votes lost, she was probably hurt the most by the Klobmentum in NH, even if you could probably make the case that it cost Pete the victory) and if she finds a way to turn the narrative around in the media.

If Amy and Pete cant get to 15% in individual precincts, Warren could pick up the 2nd choice votes. Gonna be interesting to see what Steyer does there

Any reason why there hasn’t been any polls for basically a whole month?
