These decorum defenders are driving me fucking nuts.

Back in June I ripped into our largely conservative County Board Supervisors about not declaring June Pride Month in our county and they quickly gave me the gavel treatment, accused me of violating decorum rules, and a fire alarm suspiciously was set off causing my time to be interrupted and everyone needing to evacuate.

Yet the guy to speak after me was allowed to drag on about “anal abuse” and how queer folks are bringing drugs and crime to our county. No gavel treatment there, no decorum violation, and no care for the queer folks in the audience that had to sit and listen to that shit.

it’s constantly their defense that “people talk mean” them while they literally make peoples lives a literal hell.
