  1. We got FDR from a backroom; let's roll the greatest hits.

  2. From what I've seen, that's true. I think he's going to see how he does on Super Tuesday and is taking advantage of the rates. It's one way to spend money I guess. :-/

I’m just not buying the conspiracy angle. If you’re going to rig the caucus, why do it in the most conspicuous, most publicly embarrassing manner possible?

  5. And if you're gonna do it, you rig a primary and the voting, not public caucuses that people see happen in real time.

  6. Based on Bernie's reported numbers: Pete did better than I expected, Warren did better than I expected, Biden did way worse, and Bernie didn't unlock the voters I wanted to see to give me confidence in a new theory of turning out voters. So, he basically met expectations.

He should win NH going away. Nevada and SC will be interesting to watch. If he has a surprise upset in SC, for example, that would be massive.

  13. Why hasn't Yang dropped out yet? Regardless of whatever happens, he placed 5th or 6th at best right?

  14. Tried to fuck with Bernie’s numbers to see if I could get an idea of delegates.

just so people are prepared: there’s a chance Pete wins on state delegate equivalents

  15. Feels like he’s running a parallel campaign at this point anyway, so probably gonna ring that higher profile and donation bell as long as he can. Even as he finishes at the bottom.

  17. are you incorporating the pro-Bernie bias that Silver assumed when he did that last night or just going off raw numbers? just curious

He's going to somehow bring it up during the SOTU, right? Fuck

  19. I'm trying to extrapolate off Bernie's internal numbers (probably badly) and with the information we have elsewhere. Could see Bernie winning 'popular vote', and pledged delegates (which is another calculation :crylaugh:), but state delegates could be Pete. I see a path where that's the case.

The media pundits doing hysterics on TV aren’t helping. “WE STILL DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT! WHY DONT THEY JUST RELEASE ALL OF THE NUMBERS AT ONCE?!”

fuck off you ratings pumping whores

  22. How many of them are in studios in California where they take years to calculate the results :crylaugh:

  23. Right so in a situation like that the only clear message to the rest of the country is "Biden lost"

    I'll fucking take that

  24. thank god

  25. I'd very much like that to be what people take from last night. By everything I can see: he did horrible.
