Hopefully thisll be a wake-up call that causes are dumb and paper votes are vital to the security of elections

It won't be. But I can still hope

I seriously doubt that Bernie’s campaign releases their numbers unless their numbers show Bernie performing poorly. Nobody will believe them and they’ll just get accused of tampering with public perception of the vote or whatever dumb thing Jake Blitzer/Chuck Cuomo can come up with.

Wait, what happens when Delaware is no longer a state? Who gets it?

  5. Seems like it. And, as anyone that’s done any kinda data entry and then checks the database knows, there’s allllllways some inconsistencies, cause human error ... uh ... is a thing. But now the takeaway (beside the deranged “rigged” stuff), is that administrative incompetence with no clear winner ... and that fucking sucks. Shit show.

  6. Things we do know that make me worried: mediocre turnout.

Early on I saw some steyer voters going to Bernie and I was going to say, maybe SC will be winnable because they'll join in but then everything crapped out so I'm not even sure what to think anymore.

  10. Just a fucking WILD time online tonight. We’re doing great at reporting and knowing what is actually going on, just great.

It's crazy how much journalists still don't know how to write 4 years after it happened, reporters still aren't sure either and just a big welp. I guess they realize nothing will effect them so why change anything up?

They are gonna manually count all ballots? What does that even mean? Seems no one really knows

So they say that it’s not an issue with the app, it’s inconsistencies with the data reported thus far. But they also say only 35% have reported. So what’s the fucking hold up on the other 65%? If it’s a data issue and not an issue with the reporting mechanism itself, we should have almost all the precincts in by now.

At least we fucked this up so bad that they probably won’t let us caucus anymore

Honestly, why do caucuses exist? Why can't votes just be it? Does it have to do with gerrymandering?

I think it’s just a case of “this is how we’ve always done it.” Caucuses are wildly exclusionary though, especially for people with disabilities, so you’re kind of swapping inherent suppression of one group for that of another.

  21. I mean .. in Iowa this year? Some aren’t gonna like this ... but ‘cause a lot of Bernie supporters/Our Revolution fought to keep them because of what happened in 2016:

I understand why they did but I meant as a whole, like why was it implimented to begin with? I guess I'll wiki it ha

  24. The original idea is “have to go meet with lots of people” and to get people from just dumping money into a state but instead getting out on the campaign trail, makes someone have to go to a bunch of small community’s and not just the large population centers.
