I don't wanna reveal the worst scenario shhhh

  2. I'm very excited for every satellite caucus of 10 people being treated as a bellwether all day. This is going to be great.

  3. I think I'd rather see vote by mail, but with ranked choice, in a primary.

Cause this sort of shit is so mind-numbingly-silly.

Oh yeah I’d absolutely rather just have regular ranked choice. But for all the shitty parts of the caucus, at least there’s this one positive hah

Caucusing feels like a thing that we should have gotten rid of 200 years ago as we refined our political system but somehow has continued to fall through the cracks

The fact that one or two states basically determine who'll become the nominee is really stupid and I don't know why we still do it.

  11. Hmm, I don't think these first states are going to determine the nominee (close your ears: I think it's going to be a much longer primary than people currently are predicting) ... and I think it's more annoying that a few states determine the Presidency.

  16. Prediction markets have it around 70% I think for Bernie.

Very curious to see final delegate math.

This will be the second best news best to Bernie winning tonight (hopefully)

I think the best case is that some combination of Warren/Buttigieg/Klob eat a share of Biden’s vote in the first 4, and that Bloomberg/Steyer does the same in Super Tuesday states, allowing Bernie to win with 25-35% of the vote in most contests. I don’t see Warren rallying behind Bernie if she drops out, counter to what “progressive groups” seem to suggest, and i don’t think a critical mass of her supporters are motivated by ideology in a way that they’ll naturally become his supporters. So i think the longer there are people to split the moderate lane, the better for Bernard.
