I wonder how much actual cash on hand he has. He’s worth 60 bil but a lot of that has to be tied up in stocks and other investments. Would love to know how much he’s got chillin in bank accounts

I think I agree with this. The sham of it all I think is better even if it means it ends quickly, that stench can be talked about for a long time.

I can’t really express how...frustrating...it is as a civics teacher who does a whole unit on our Constitution and how the government is set up/how it’s supposed to work with separation of powers and rule of law and etc.

like, two of the things I teach my students as truth (with caveats) are just totally blown out of the water completely now.

 

CNN is saying apparently it’s the “4 moderates” that are holding this up and not letting it end tonight. To what end? Are they really gonna vote no on witnesses but then not let Trump have it be done before SOTU as ‘punishment’ or something?

 

Its mind blowing just how scared of the truth coming out the republicans have to me. They admitting that Trump used his power to influence Ukraine to investigate the Bidens, admitting that he's also been lying to us about it in the processes, and are taking an action that goes against the wishes of 75% of Americans.

They absolutely are taking a hit here. Which means what they are trying to save themselves from has gotta be really, really bad.
