I still can’t believe that they honestly think covering it up now and having it come out later, possibly closer to the election, will be better for them than simply voting for witnesses now and seeing where the chips fall.

Like if it all comes out now you still have time to spin your acquittal vote as “I supported a fair trial and just was not persuaded by the Democratic case.” Instead they’re basically planting a ticking time bomb on all of their backs and giving their Dem opponents a cover-up cudgel to beat them with in the fall.

 

Ok now it just sounds like he’s rattling off buzzwords that he knows Dems want to hear lol

I do worry about this.

Bernie is still only getting like 25% in a lot of the polls that show him leading. In a crowded primary, that is enough to win the early states.

But either the primary stays crowded, and while he can keep winning he won't be getting enough delegates to ensure a majority by the nomination. And even if he leads the delegate count going into the convention, I don't trust the DNC to give him the nomination.

On the other hand, if the primary does thin out... can he beat Biden H2H? recent polling shows that might not be the case. I feel like he almost kinda needs Warren to take delegates away from Biden and then the Warren delegates to turn around and support him at the convention.

Pretty boiler plate stuff virtually all the candidates have said at one point or another. That headline is extremely poorly constructed from what's actually in the text:

 

We've seen first hand the role at which tech companies putting profits ahead of the truth allows disinformation to spread like wildfire and erode our democracy.

Do we not want candidates to try and do something about it?!!?

its like their trying to make the most rage endusing arguments because they know they can still win

or they are just really dumb and this is actually all going to come toppling down. But its probably the former.

If I were Bernie I would say “I’ll answer that question when one of you gets me an answer for how Trump and the GOP can fund tax cuts for the rich and endless wars.”
