And like ... I don't even need the full thing cancelled. Just a portion of it would significantly relieve so much stress.

It would really, really benefit my life if we could afford to buy a home, get married, and start a family but we each have loans combined over 100k and it just halts everything we want to do.

I just fucking hate so much your school tries getting you to think about college at like age 15 and make a decision by 18. They pressure you into going to the "big name" because it looks way better to send kids to Ivy League's over community. They literally in my town scold you for considering community college ... even state colleges. When you are 15-18 you are super impressionable and so much of us fall into this trap of going to bigger named private universities, which are the ones which cost 45k minimum for tuition a year.

It also doesn't help that now every single god damn job requires a bachelors, and even if you try getting entry level, it will say bachelors AND 3-5 years experience. So now we think going to grad school will give us an edge ... but that is more and more loans.

There needs to be something done and I am so proud to vote for the candidate who understands the debt crisis.

 

If my wife and I’s student debt gets cancelled that’s an extra ~$2,000 a month for us to use so yeah I can’t imagine voting for anyone other than Bernie on that fact alone lol sorry entire rest of the field.

 

The unawareness of some vegans is just so stupid, I was telling my friend about this special diet I have to do and they're like it's easy just go completely plant based foods for 2 months lol like yea, not everyone lives in the suburbs, can afford it, drives and is near a Whole Foods or another organic supermarket. The privilege is so fucking dumb.

 

Like, do these people not realize how big of an economic impact relieving this debt would have on the US economy? Like if millions more people now have $1,000-2,000 more a month to spend on whatever, they'll be buying homes, cars, furniture, random stuff, all things that will grow the economy and benefit everybody.
