A normal and healthy country we live in when a thought randomly popped into my head the other day of “wow there hasn’t been a mass shooting that I can recall in the past couple weeks”

 

That show was so damn bizarre

Love how none of the "but her emails" crowd batted an eye at finding out President Mashed Potato Brain was shouting about crimes into a personal cell phone in conversation with the EU ambassador, also using a personal cell phone, in a public restaurant loud enough for others nearby to hear.

 

My town with a budget of about $20 million spends about $5 million of it on the police. And definitely not needed when we have one of the lowest crime rates in NJ

I wanna run for council there one day and talk about how ridiculous that is and watch how I get no votes cause I live in republicanland

 

you'll get no votes because they'll take you off the ballot after they kill you

 

I grew up in a very republican NJ town with extremely low crime rates as well (I believe we were the safest city in the country for our population size at one point in the '00s). Can't even tell you how many Chargers the police drive around in that town still to this day.

 

Maybe it's the lowest crime because of so many police?

 

Which town if I may ask?

 

Something like half of our county budget goes to the county police
