Today is World Diabetes Day.

As a Type 1 Diabetic, it's impossible to convey the neverending mental, physical, and unnecessary financial burden of this awful disease.

While the awareness raised this year on insulin price gouging and corporate pharmaceutical greed has been encouraging, it has not led to any meaningful changes in the lives of American diabetics. We still die senselessly.

A thread with some more of my thoughts.

 

To this day, this is still the best phone I've ever owned when considering time it was released.
