  2. Remember for Nixon: “it wasn’t the crime; it was the cover-up”

I'm curious, what level of credibility does the complaint have? Is there definitive proof to back these claims up, or are republicans always going to be able to say this is just hearsay?

Yes. There’s a whole transcript that trump released himself which 100% aligns with the complaint.

You'd have to believe that this staggeringly incompetent administration has the wherewithal to successfully cover up numerous crimes.

The mental gymnastics that Bill Mitchell dude goes through to make all of this seem like a positive for Trump is pretty impressive

Another thing I'm wondering - the whistleblower report was released to Congress yesterday, right? So maybe Pelosi knew how damning this was already when she said she wanted to restrict the impeachment inquiry just to this? Seems to make more sense now with how fucking bad it looks

Maguire is out of his depth understanding the importance of the semantics in this line of questioning

"I think the whistleblower did the right thing. He/she followed the law every step of the way" - Brutal quote lol

Nunes, what about all of the other people that were implicated within the complaint, as well as the fact the complaint mentions several credible sources for each call you nitwit

Nunes is grasping at straws. They really have nothing.

So Nunes' entire gameplan is "who cares if he did something wrong, you shouldn't have found out about it anyway!"
