Call me crazy but I don’t think 2 or 3 pitcher ABs in a 3.5 hour long game is what’s keeping the youngins away from the game lol

I grew up playing baseball and loving baseball and I don’t even watch as much as I used to, the instant gratification aspects of society have made methodical games like baseball a slog for kids unfortunately.

I’m hoping one of the upsides of less kids playing football is their parents get them into little league more instead.

Nope, 100% serious. He’s probably seen as a “safe” choice as VP, where his potential drawbacks on policy aren’t front burner issues for most voters (like charter schools), and he’s younger and good at giving speeches. Pretty much all that’s required of a VP to do really lol. And he can handle himself in a debate, so he’d do fine against Pence.

I don’t know if he’d be anybody’s first choice, but I could definitely see him being the safe, fallback choice for a lot of other candidates if a campaign team can’t decide on a potentially more polarizing option.

 

It's the same problem all the other leagues have though, the leagues need to get rid of local blackout restrictions, in the 2019 streaming era it's ridiculous. In Colorado for example the local broadcasts for Nuggets/Rockies are on these tiny obscure networks but those mlb.tv/nba league pass games are still subject to blackouts

If a younger person (aka not the big 3) wins the nomination....do we think they go elder statesman for a VP or double up on the young? Like a Harris-Beto ticket or something like that. Seems weird tbh

True. We don't have a local team though, so only Mariner games get blacked out for me and I just use a VPN when it happens.

What does Booker give you in the EC? Not much. Don't see him being a VP pick for any of the current front runners. They'd all gain a lot more on the map with other picks.
