Hmmm, good question! What kind of jobs are they doing? If you don't know the language (of which I've been trying to learn), it really limits the amount of jobs Americans/people who speak just English are viable for. The majority of young people under 30 speak English nearly fluently, so English isn't much of something that we can try to bring to differentiate ourselves; so you need to stand out in different ways to get hired.
