Yeah I got invited to an in person one in Philly. They make oyu take another 50 question test and then you do a test-game in the room with the other folks there auditioning.

I think I did pretty good this time.

 

i am extremely good at playing jeopardy while watching it on tv but i would be worried about nerves and also not being able to work the buzzer because that seems to happen a lot

 

They spend a surprising amount of time teaching you about the buzzer at these auditions, and apparently they will even stop during the actual show if they notice a contestant constantly ringing in too early and such to help explain/show them better timing.

My nerves were so-so today, but that's because I've done an audition before so I knew what to expect. I was a wreck at the first audition I did a few years agoand god forbid I ever actually make it to the show...Xanax will be my friend and the foggy brain it causes will be my foe.

I’m only good at Alexa Jeopardy.

 

I wouldn't be good on TV and I have no interesting anecdotes, if I won more than like 2 games I would just start making shit up

 

.....They even have advice for the shit you make up/forgot you wrote down haha. Basically there's a phrase they tell you to say to Alex if he brings up something in your anecdotes and you either don't remember it or can't divulge more details on it because it's fake haha. Something like "That's right, Alex" or something like that.

 

Yeah I remember reading that before the first time I tried out because I was nervous and reading everything I could about it lol

I wonder how far left the national Democratic candidate could go before they'd start losing support in some of New England.


My guess is those folks would be much more supportive of further left federal government while sticking with center left state government....but who knows.

These idc people have been in there for years, people who just vote dem every time keep them there and there's never been a challenge against them like this. All of these candidates are not necessarily "left", they're just not republicans calling themselves Dems like these incumbents are. They will all win.
