I just learned that despite registering to vote when I switched my mailing address upon moving here I am not registered.

I moved a month and a half ago and just checked and I’m already registered in my new town. But like Ian, I changed to unaffiliated so I couldn’t vote in my state’s primary two weeks ago

Huge explosions occurring in 3 towns in northern Mass. Holy fuck. The gas lines got backed up, 60+ fires popping up in random locations, so they turned power off in every town. My family is from all three towns, my uncle is fighting the fires now as the rest of my family evacuates. Jesus Christ.

yeah this is wild. i've been seeing tweets about it since this morning but couldn't figure out what was actually happening until i saw it on the news this evening. mustve been horrifying seeing just random explosions all over the place

My uncle and his family luckily evacuated to a friend's home, and the fire fighter uncle told my mom he is okay, but she hasn't really heard updates from him past "K" in a text, but glad he responded because the news said a fire fighter was injured. My immediate family hasn't lived there for many years, but this is so surreal and scary.

Yeah I can't even imagine, that's gotta be terrifying. Seeing a guy interviewed on the news about an explosion at his neighbors' and he is visibly rattled

Ballin'! Congrats! I had my phone interview this morning! The guy seemed impressed by my industry knowledge and background, but he sent me an Excel test after the call I had 30 minutes to get through, which I ended up only getting through about 70%. Hopefully it's not the sole factor they use, because the rest of the interview was pretty good. In any case, I'm getting a ticket tonight to fly back to Oslo for a week and a half in early October, so that's awesome. But yeah, now play the waiting game
