    Watching this one closely...we’re safe on the DelMarVa peninsula now but a couple of the models still give it a shot of swinging to the north at the last second, which would put it right on track to go through here.

    Slim chance though. I just remember how crazy Sandy was, the eye of it went right by us.

    I’m not too worried about myself in Richmond but everyone I know in Tidewater is freaking out a bit. Also the fact that the Jawbreaker show in Asbury Park is scheduled for Saturday and hasn’t been postponed is horribly stressful. This storm has the worst timing.

    Richmond seems like it could be in for some pretty bad flooding, especially if this thing turns north at all.

    If this thing takes the more northern track (landfall more toward NC/VA border than NC/SC), everywhere in the mid Atlantic coastal areas need to be on high alert for coastal flooding (and maybe inland too if the heavy rain makes it up there). They’re even talking about potential for significant coastal flooding for me in NJ if it takes the more north track
