on one hand, police resources being wasted to find a fucking maga hat is hilarious, on the other hand, fuck everything else about this

 

I don’t think people realize how much charges for such petty things can really hurt/disable people in many long term ways. If I was judge, I’d order the man to apologize, pay for the hat and have the kid accept, and move on. Maybe even make them do a number of hours of volunteer/charity work together. See what comes of it.

Also, not defending the guys actions. But doesn’t they kid tell him to enjoy the hat or have fun with it? I’ll have to go back and watch it.
