Isn't this a direct contradiction of the other tweet shared in this page that says:

"If Paul Ryan wanted to stop children at the border being taken from their parents, he could introduce a bill this week and it’d get 300, maybe even 400, votes in the House."?

Can't get 300-400 votes if zero republicans support it.

 

Paul Ryan is in the House. This bill, co-sponsored by every Dem, is in the Senate.

 

It's so infuriating trying to discuss this topic with people who don't use any logic in their argument. I'm talking to a dude who has a young son and when I ask how he would feel if he didn't do anything illegal but his son was taken from him and he just doesn't get it.

 

Just drove through Newtown, CT seeing a lot of posters being put up for a rally to stop the child separation at border for this weekend

 

Ah gotcha, good point. Crazy to me that there's such a stark difference between Senate and House republicans on this.
