This is hilarious.

 

I tried saying that the truancy thing isn’t as abnormal or biscuits as it sounds...I guess it could be applied different in different jurisdictions but I know here parents aren’t really going to jail for it.

They do get the police showing up at their door, though. The schools do most of the work though in terms of reporting, getting paper work together, etc. As far as I can tell, excessively truant students will be transferred to an alternative placement before any legal action is taken against the parents

 

In hs my mom got a bunch of those truancy letters my senior year since I always skipped 1st and 5th period. The school called for a meeting and she went and cried for them to not keep me from graduating and he said if I could pass an AP class with 35 absences he wouldn't block it. Haha

I graduated on time

At 4pm today in downtown Minneapolis, it wasn't that bad; after about 15 minutes waiting for my bus, I could start to feel the cold in my legs, but upper body and face was fine. But now it's officially -20 outside, so yeah, now is most DEF not the time to spend any time outside whatsoever. Will hit -24 in a few hours

 

Be careful! I spent some time up in Rochester in the winter. Not good!
