Dunno, I think the policies being brought out right now are really great. I don’t give a fuck if they talk on Instagram too, but this take ignores Warren and Gillibrand opening with massively progressive new ideas.

Like this doesn’t seem to be “the takeaway” from any of the candidates so far.

Warren announced a literal tax the rich policy today! After seeing what happened during Obama’s campaign and the “redistribute” line being called a gaffe, I truly can’t believe what I’m seeing. But it’s awesome. Cool she drinks beer too.

 

I don't mean this as a dig at you at all @popdisaster00, I'm just ranting, but I saw through 2016 no one spend hardly any time talking about policies, even some really progressive policies, and all the time spent on personalities. And I think I'm going to lose my mind if it happens again.

Like Warren announced a policy today that I never thought I'd see in my lifetime. And when all the talk is "authenticity" and "personality" and "but she got a beer on her Facebook stream" -- I want to fucking scream into a pillow.

Gillibrand announced, on paper (she needs to support killing the filibuster), a much more detailed GND-type policy than we've so far seen ... today! And it's sucked into the ether.

 

Both of the policy announcements today made me very very happy, despite all the other awful nonsense going on.

Nope I agree with you, I think most tweets in here over simply one concept or another unless it’s a straight up news tweet. Part of me is like, “yes more democrats should be like AOC” and the other part of me agrees that we’re still making awesome progress right now even though so much feels shitty and depressing

 

I've seen multiple people now post that stupid article for CBN or whatever it's called about the NY choice bill and I just can't.

The amount of people who think women are out here at week 37 or 38 saying "Yeah I think I'll have an abortion now" just fucking boggles my mind.

 

Kline is the subject of an October 2018 Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint viewed by NBC News that was filed by Tricia Newbold, a current employee. Newbold has a rare form of dwarfism and the complaint alleges Kline discriminated against her because of her height.

Her complaint states that in December 2017, Kline moved security files to a new location which was too high and out of her reach and told her, "You have people, have them get you the files you need; or you can ask me."

I believe so, though I see a lot of folks on the other side claiming it says “health” is being defined very loosely and that it includes things like “mental health” or whatever...but no fucking one is waiting until they’re two-four weeks away and simply getting an abortion! Like, it’s fucking insane

Im sure it has to do with the midterm turnout and all the new progressive/young reps that won but it's about fucking time they stop crossing the aisle that the right keeps moving further right.

Warren is looking like my #1 pick right now. Less baggage than Bernie (mainly with the crazy Hilary people) pretty close to the same lefty policies and can stand up for herself against trump.
